About me
Hannah Lu loves teaching students to "Sing and make music from our heart to the Lord.” (Eph. 5:19) She loves teaching music in the classroom and preparing students for concerts, stage productions, and contests at the Memorial Campus, Tallowood Baptist's children's choir, and in her private voice studio. She desires to use her own experiences in singing with the Houston Grand Opera, the Houston Chamber Choir, Mercury Houston and as a soloist with many symphonies around the country to help raise up a new generation of worshippers through music, whether it is in a worship service, on stage, or in everyday life. Soli Deo Gloria! Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from University of Northwestern, and a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from Rice University. Hannah and her husband Mike have been blessed to raise their children, Isaac, 13, and Lydia, 9, in the Paratus and now SBSUM community, and when they are not at school, you can find them serving at their church, Tallowood Baptist, cycling, playing tennis, performing, cooking and traveling. It is Hannah’s sincere desire that God be glorified as we make music for our Audience of One!
